As the Director of Enterprises, I have had the wonderful opportunity to work side by side with students, learning together how to run a great coffee shop. A range of experience led me to Embark, including nearly 20 years in the food and beverage industry, and five years as literary editor for a non-profit. Most of that experience was in training and coaching roles, which is why I am so excited to be involved in the micro school. I've seen countless examples of how impactful and fulfilling a hands-on learning experience can be and am thrilled to be sharing that with the students. And if an encyclopedic knowledge of comic books is of interest to any of our students, I’m excited to share that too.
